Students will explore vulnerability and risk assessment methodologies for natural, man-made as well as technological disasters/events and develop an understanding of the processes used in identifying and quantifying vulnerabilities in a system (e.g., a physical facility such as a chemical plant, or an infrastructure component such as a power plant).
