    75441 2019-08-26 to 2019-12-14 The purpose of this course is to develop an understanding of the principles that promote effective disaster response and recovery operations after disasters. To achieve this goal, the course will examine the nature of disasters as well as the roles and responsibilities of various actors involved in emergency management and homeland security. Various problems associated with response and recovery operations will be identified and discussed with special emphasis on the role of technology and communications coordination.
