50803 2021-05-17 to 2021-08-06 Provides an in-depth understanding of research occurring in educational and behavioral healthcare settings. Provides basic knowledge in utilizing a needs assessment and program evaluation to guide program planning and evaluate effectiveness. Addresses basic qualitative, quantitative, mixed methods and indigenous research designs. Addresses knowledge and skills for becoming critical consumers of research in education and behavioral healthcare settings. Omar Gomez Salgado 3.00 This class will have meeting times every other week beginning Wednesday, May 22, June 5, June 19, July 3, July 17, and July 31 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Prerequisites: Admittance to Master of Education Counseling or School Counselor Graduate Certification program.
