This course will introduce students to human trafficking (also referred to as a form of modern day slavery), an invisible challenge to human rights around the world. The course will discuss trafficking in human beings (most often women and children) in its historical, legal, economic, and political and social contexts. This course will look at human trafficking on a global scale, in the US and in Alaska Register at your local campus or UAOnline. Books and materials may be purchased at the UAF Bookstore, www.uaf.bkstr.com. This course uses UA Google Apps.
