At UAF, we are actively working to reduce costs for students. Part of that effort is working with instructors to create or identify course materials that deliver their curriculum in a cost-effective way.
A NoLo course is one where free or open resources are used to keep textbook and material costs under $40.
Note: NoLo only pertains to required course textbooks, workbooks, online homework platforms or other publisher-provided tools and materials. This amount does not include equipment (like art supplies, calculators or physical lab materials), regular course fees, lab fees, proctoring fees, or tuition.
The following online courses have been identified as No-Cost or Low-Cost (NoLo) courses at UAF.
Register for any of these courses at UAOnline.
