How to Arrange a Proctored Exam

It will be noted in your syllabus if your course requires a proctored exam, which means a neutral, third-party person will supervise.

If you are located in Fairbanks, the UAF eCampus Exam Center has your exam ready for you! No appointment is necessary but give yourself enough time to complete your exam before closing.

Virtual Proctoring

Some UAF courses offer virtual proctoring via Remote Proctoring Now (RPNow). If your course has virtual proctoring enabled, instructions on how to take an exam using a virtual proctor will be posted under the “Take a Virtual Exam” tab in Blackboard.

RPNow is a virtual proctoring solution that allows students to take exams at a location of their choosing (office, home, etc.). Students need a computer, reliable internet, a webcam and a microphone. Academic dishonesty is flagged and reported to faculty for possible determination.

The cost is $15 per exam.
