Meet Robin, the meticulous mastermind behind the scenes who keeps UAF’s online courses organized and available for viewing and registration. Tasked with the crucial responsibility of entering courses into UAF’s database, Robin ensures that each course is accurately cataloged and readily available to students and faculty. Her precision and attention to detail are unparalleled!
Q: What do you do at eCampus?
A: I am the eCampus Course Scheduler. I help departments get their courses scheduled and coded in the UAF database, so that students can register for them.
Q: How do you work with students?
A: In my current job, I usually don’t work with students very often. The main people I work with are the admins in the different UAF departments. However, I do sit at the eCampus Front Counter once a week and help students on the phone or who come into our office to take a test.

Q: What do you like about working at UAF eCampus?
A: I really like the flexibility of our office. Some of us work and live in Fairbanks, while others work out of State. I also love that all of us have different backgrounds and bring different talents to the table, but we all pull together as a Team to help students, staff, faculty, the public and each other with tackling problems that arise.
Q: What’s your favorite tradition (holiday or otherwise)?
A: My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving, as I love cooking and trying out new recipes! I also like having the long 4-day weekend to go “Black Friday” shopping (you can find me at the local Fred Meyer at 5am!) and decorating the house for Christmas!
Q: What advice would you give to your younger self?
A: That being in your late 50’s is really not that OLD!
Q: What’s one song you have completely memorized?
A: ummmmm … .does the “Happy Birthday” song count?! I love music from the ‘80’s. Not sure if I could sing a COMPLETE song from memory, but I sure could sing along with the radio!
