You can earn an occupational endorsement from the University of Alaska Fairbanks in as little as one year and improve the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in your career field. You can also apply endorsement credits toward an associate or bachelor’s degree.
The first step is to apply for admission! On your application, select that you’re interested in online courses and select the “Online Only” version of your major. Once you’re admitted, you’ll meet with the eCampus Academic Advisor to make an academic plan and register for your classes in UAOnline. This is where you’ll find your textbook list and be notified of any materials you’ll need before class begins.
When your University of Alaska Fairbanks online courses begin, you’ll log in to Canvas — your online course delivery system. If you need to get in touch with your instructor, their contact information will be available on Canvas.
Courses for UAF online degrees don’t have specific meetings times, though you will have assignments each week. Courses are carefully designed by expert faculty members to best teach their subjects. Tools and resources that may be used for your UAF online degree courses include blogs, social media, video chat and other technology.
