UAF eCampus courses are located in Blackboard or Canvas though some instructors may have additional sites for your particular course. eCampus courses are typically not available to students until the first day of instruction.

Your grade point average is a weighted numerical average of the grades you earn in your courses at UAF. To compute your GPA, divide the total number of credits you have attempted into the total number of grade points you have earned.
Grade points are calculated by multiplying the number of grade points awarded in the course(s) by the number of credits attempted for the course(s). The following grades are figured in your GPA: A+, A, A-, B+, B, B-, C+, C, C-, D+, D, D- and F. Grades of I, DF, W, P, NB, AU, and CR do not carry grade points and do not affect your GPA.

Yes. eCampus offers a limited number of short-term courses during semesters, depending on student demand and the academic department’s needs. Currently, seven-week courses are offered in Library Science and MBA courses.
The eCampus Exam and Testing Center is located in the Bunnell Building (1790 Tanana Loop) on the Fairbanks campus. There are a few dedicated eCampus exam parking spaces behind the building. They are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and are only available for the time you are taking your exam.
There are both meter and kiosk-pay parking spaces located around the Bunnell building.

UAF eCampus is an academic and student support unit that delivers online courses and degrees that are not restricted by time or place. UAF eCampus helps faculty design their instruction for the online learning environment and also offers a full complement of student support services (recruitment and transition, advising, enrollment, proctoring and student success).
eCampus courses come in a variety of types but all courses are designed to provide access and flexibility to students. eCampus courses are online, asynchronous courses that can be completed from any location. Though these courses do not have a set meeting time, most have weekly deadlines so be sure to keep up with the course schedule.
A smaller number of eCampus courses can be synchronous video conference or a hybrid model of online and face-to-face instruction. When students register, there will be specific information listed in the course notes.

No. Anyone can take an eCampus course. You do not need to be admitted to a degree program.
Yes. All students enrolled in eCampus courses, no matter where they are located, pay resident tuition.
You are eligible to utilize the Senior Citizen Tuition Waiver and enroll in eCampus courses if:
You can register up to two weeks prior to the first day of instruction by completing the eCampus Registration form for the appropriate term and the Senior Citizen Tuition Waiver. If space is available, you will be enrolled in the course prior to the first day of instruction and sent notification to complete. You must meet both age and residency requirements by one of the following dates to be eligible for the corresponding semester: September 1 for fall; January 1 for spring; May 1 for summer. Reimbursements will not be made to senior citizens who pay for a course and then request a waiver. Additional information is available on the Office of the Bursar website.
UAF eCampus offers many courses that can meet Alaska Teacher Certification or recertification. Detailed information can be found here.
