Exam Information for Community
The UAF eCampus Testing Center proctors a variety of tests which are scheduled with and set up for delivery by several different companies. Each vendor has a unique set of rules and procedures that we must follow when proctoring their exams.
Professional Certification Assessments
UAF Testing Services provides credentialing and certification exams for a variety of industries. We work closely with the State of Alaska for the Alaska Bar Exam, waste and wastewater testing and more.
JOURNEYMAN
Please work directly with your Coordinator to ensure that you have filled all of your hourly and coursework requirements prior to scheduling your testing appointment. To schedule a testing appointment, please fill out our form. Select “State of Alaska Testing” as your exam group. eCampus Testing Services can proctor Journeyman exams for:
- Boiler
- Electrician
- Explosive Handler
- Lineman
- Plumber
PESTICIDE APPLICATOR
To become a pesticide applicator you must register for your exam with the State and then schedule your testing appointment.
WATER
To take a State of Alaska water exam, you must register for your exam and then schedule your testing appointment.
STATE OF ALASKA TEACHING CERTIFICATIONS
The State of Alaska suggests many different exams in order to fill the Basic Competency Examination requirement for teaching certifications. At Exam Services we offer California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST). Learn more about the Basic Competency Examination Requirement.
The College-Level Examination Program® or CLEP provides all students with the opportunity to demonstrate college-level achievement through a program of exams in undergraduate college courses. There are 2,900 colleges that grant credit and/or advanced standing for CLEP exams.
How can I prepare for the exam? Sign up for a CLEP course on the Modern States website.
Meazure Learning offers certification in healthcare, information technology, and financial industries to name a few. To view and register for the testing programs that are available, visit Meazure Learning’s website.
The eCampus Testing Services provides NTN computer-based assessments in departments such as law enforcement and corrections. Schedule for an exam by visiting the National Testing Network’s website.
The eCampus Exam Services is a Pearson VUE authorized test center.
Pearson VUE hosts accreditations for virtually every trade and profession. Many of the more common and popular exams are GED, CompTIA, EMT, etc. You can visit Pearson VUE’s website to get access to candidate resources and get started on scheduling your exam.
eCampus Testing Services is a PROV authorized testing center.
PROV grants individuals the ability to get credentialing in professions such as construction and cosmetology, among others. For more information to prepare and register for an exam, visit PROV’s website.
eCampus Testing Services is a PSI authorized test center.
PSI provides board certified testing that supports growth and development in your profession of choice. Examinations from state licensing all the way to department placement assessments are available on PSI’s website. Or, refer to your test sponsor for scheduling and more information.
Popular Exams
Each year we help the Fairbanks (and surrounding) community take their Certified Public Accountant exam. The CPA exam is offered as part of contracted testing between eCampus Testing Services and Prometric Testing.

Through Pearson Vue. This is designed for recent graduates or students who are close to finishing their undergraduate engineering degree. THE FE is a graduation requirement for undergraduate students who are completing a degree from UAF’s College of Engineering and Mines.

THE ATI TEAS is mostly taken by students who want acceptance to the UAA Nursing Program
If you are taking the TEAS for a UA program, you will need to first register and pay the ATI TEAS exam fee through UAA. After you have completed all of the registration steps with UAA, please schedule an appointment and pay the UAF eCampus proctoring fee via our form: Schedule a Testing Appointment. You cannot schedule a testing appointment until you have registered with UAA.

We are on the first floor of Bunnell. There are parking spots with signs that read “eCampus Exams Services.” (3G on the map is closest). If the free spots are full park in the pay-to-park lot 3G, at the end (shaded green) or lots 3A and 3C.
